Permanent ice rinks
Permanent ice rinks are largery investment project in which we fully apply our know-how in design, production and construction works. We have capability of creating comprehensive designs for the most technologically advanced ice rinks refrigeration systems; we carry out the entire construction works, technological start-ups and provide all the necessary services upon completion.
We offer designing and building seasonal permanent ice rinks, multi-purpose sport facilities functioning as pitches with artificial turf, open and roofed ice rinks and professional facilities where skating, ice hockey and curling competitions can be organized.
Our offer of permanent ice rinks includes:
- professional refrigeration units and chilling engine rooms for large refrigeration systems,
- chilled slabs,
- mobile dasher boards as well as professional ice hockey boards in compliance with the requirements of the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation),
- tent halls,
- access system and video surveillance.
Refrigeration units installed on our ice rinks meet the highest technical and quality standards. All our units are equipped with an automatic control feature allowing for fully self-automated operation. Refrigeration's chilling power is matched in dependance of total ice sheet surface. Refrigeration units have compact structure and work on eco-friendly CFC gases and glicol.
Refrigeration plants purpose is to provide cooling to large refrigerating installations of the ice rinks. We design and install refrigeration plants allowing for heat recovery. They are fully equipped with automatic control panels, pump units, expansion tanks, valves and armature.
Concrete chilled slabs with refrigerating installation made of PE pipes installed inside. The slabs are made of a special kind of concrete that is frost-resistant and additionally reinforced with steel netting and steel fibres to provide resistnce to shrinkage. There is also a monolithic (concrete) duct for manifold attached to one of the ice rink sides.
Ice hockey boards are produced in compliance with the requirements of the IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation). The set of dasher boards include, among others, players and referee areas, tempered glass panels, safety nets, etc.
Mobile dasher boards are produced in two versions:
- based on a framework of closed galvanized steel frames with PE HD
- made from a polymer composide based on polyester resin reinforced by glass fibre and strengthened with interlacing steel ribbing.
